Yesterday I finished the topstitching on the zip panel and sewed and felled it to the side panels. Just the piped seam left to do. At work I circled back into the parser to fix some missing annotations, add more structure to addresses and value lookups, and normalize how entity mentions are reported. P had the car on campus, and drove us to sqhill so I could pick up some heartburn meds to fill the gap between refills what with travel and everything. Home, dinner, crossword, Voyager, snack, assembled ingredients for another batch of nut and seed bars, sleep. Dreamt of 16411’s garden and porch, with puppies, struggling tomatoes, abandoned plantings recovered by various extended family, black russeted pumpkins, indeterminate zucchini, and a game called wall tag played in a gymnasium entirely paneled in floral foam.

Yesterday I finished the pattern adjustments, then laid out, traced, and cut out the second chair back pieces. I finished Divided Allegiance (can we have ONE BOOK in this series without a sexual assault, please) and started Oath of Gold. I ironed a linen remnant and traced out a grid for sleep sachets. P walked home after work, and I hung out with him and did more stitching while he decompressed. Dinner, crossword, Elementary, snack, sleep.

Olin trans update: better but not yet good. Not transphobic per se, but a failure to understand the fragility of the space:

Yesterday I had breakfast, shower, finished packing, took Ativan. Called
gma to see if she was up; she was, so we stopped in to drop off the stuff
from aunt K and say goodbye. Then, airport. First flight was fine but
delayed. We had a long enough layover in ORD that we were fine for the next
flight, though P didn’t get to go to the tapas place he’d been looking
forward to. Second flight was fine. Listened to a bunch more Space Opera.
Drive home had some weird traffic at Carnegie but was ultimately fine. Took
in the mail, which included my passport! Very exciting; now I can go to
Canada again without having it be a one-way trip. No snack, just sleep.
