Yesterday we went to the farmers market and got apples, pea shoots,
peppers, and some other things I forget. We went to the geagle and got
tomato passata, sunflower seeds, honey roasted peanuts, and mushrooms.

I cooked more red rice, and did the laundry and hung it out on the line.
Lunch. I cleaned the dehydrator, and peeled and sliced a few of the monster
northern spies for dried apples to go in oatmeal once the frozen
blueberries run out. I put the apple-infused citric acid solution and the
deseeded cores and peels to boil to extract the pectin, and watched the
gbbo final from 2017. Strained off the solids, added sugar, and made a
fruit cheese — basically a pectin-set sliceable confection. Fruit snacks
from before fruit snacks were a thing. Northern spies are just so delicious.

Dinner was mushroom lentil pasta, also delicious. Crossword authors missed
the opportunity for gur tncf gb znxr arj jbeqf, but we got it.
