Dreamt of a sinister slumber party

Yesterday I got sidetracked a lot, but it was all important stuff so seems fine. I got A and B’s help merging the last deployment branch into main, which required substantial git surgery since it incorporated some work in progress commits from another branch that was rebased before it got merged into main. Once that was done we set up the new production branch, fixed a few things that were falling or had been forgotten, and finally were able to deploy the fix to USAFacts. I went to the vis meeting, a meeting with Unito that was less directly useful than I had hoped, and put the rest of the afternoon into reissuing a set of individual response files for wave 4 of the F data, which we’d inadvertently been leaving 2 questions out of since September.

Dinner, crossword, Avatar (which is perfect, I’ve managed to move my bedtime up by an hour because the episodes are short and much less sticky than the other stuff I’d been watching), snack, sleep.

City of Illusions continues, treading dangerously close to a sort of philosophical smugness. With luck it won’t cross over.
