Yesterday was a bit intense. I went to the big group meeting and took more than my share of time (oops) with discussions about whether to pull trend support from the map for this release, when to start posting COVID test data, and a third thing. I went to the first weekly meeting with our new claims data partner (late, oops) with the effect of we’ll be getting access to their dev environment early next week. I went to a meeting with a Slack rep to discuss our usage and needs for transitioning a to a different / more affordable plan. I met with Engineering and got updates and made reassignments. In the cracks between things I reviewed the newly-posted job descriptions, which had some errors; catalogued all the inconsistencies with a data archive we received from the CDC to ask for clarification; fixed an issue with the sftp site for F caused by a bizarre survey response that came in over the weekend, and adjusted the pipeline to prevent that happening again; and monitored the release. A bunch of stuff came up during testing, including a total meltdown in IE11 that marketing offered to address for us in CSS this morning. We wound up pulling the trend mode for this release anyway, since it seems to cause a nasty problem when you try to display any other data afterwards.

Dinner, crossword, put in a bakery order, then started Nadia’s Time To Eat on Netflix and finished the center back seam on P’s shorts. Snack, sleep, dreamt of something but it’s gone.
