I’m reading YA again and it’s so good

Yesterday I plied more Romney, cut the soap, met a recent CS grad who will
be working with us for a year, missed the shuttle but got picked up by P
(probably wise given it was over 90 out and I’ve been overheating
recently), and picked a pile of snow peas for dinner, chasing a groundhog
out of the garden in the process. It’s not clear how it got in — I did
leave the gate open in the morning, but P checked when he finished watering
for me and it was clear. The little jerk climbed to the top of the fence
right in front of me, but it should be harder to do that from the outside,
just because of the way the wire is attached. Anyway it seems only to have
nibbled on some of the orach, which won’t hurt it.
After dinner I made some progress on Gerty’s embroidery project, and it
looks like I will definitely win at floss chicken, at least for this satin
stitch bow.
Nevermoor, by the way.
