Yesterday I did some herbalism research only to figure out that while my
western medicine bullshit detector is in fine fettle, I really don't know
enough about Traditional Chinese Medicine or Ayurveda to feel comfortable
doing research online. Thankfully this deficiency doesn't seem to extend to
my ability to evaluate book reviews, so now a few good textbooks are headed
my way.

I made more Chex mix, going back to the brown sugar recipe and adding salt
and shredded coconut. I think I like the white sugar version better but the
coconut is a win.

Work was a slog but progress was made.

P discovered to his surprise and dismay that his lab class had been moved
from Thursdays to Tuesdays, so that was a weird rush. Thankfully he'd
already prepped the slides for it, so everything turned out fine. I think
the earlier schedule is actually going to be better for him in the long run.

I watched more Unfortunate Events and knit like a fiend. The bodies of both
mitten linings are done; one is ready to be grafted and the other is nearly
there. I managed to drop a stitch marker somewhere so that will have to
come back before I can graft properly. Plus the thumbs, which are both in
the right places. Go me!
