Vacation updates

infryqYesterday I spun some more, flipped the pillowcase and added some baking soda (maybe to extract more dye? or get a different shade of color? cotton likes alkali). I knit some on P's hat, but it turned out much too big so I ripped everything back and cast on a smaller size.
I did call the doctor, but the first appointment I could get is Feb 1. I took it, but I hope to be doing a bit better by then.
The rest of the day was setting up this site, putting in a Duluth order, and buying a small membership to the fiber collective in Shadyside. And napping.
I'm maybe finally getting bored of rice? If I'm still bored of it at lunch I'll add carrots.
