Yesterday I fixed a surprise dry-run issue with the new F codebase, filled the last few placeholders in the blog post, went to the all hands meeting, met briefly with Z about the remaining work for 1.8, met the last google fellow, discussed the comms candidates with Z and came up with a tentative plan we’re going to sleep on over the weekend, and spent the rest of the afternoon reviewing PRs and writing code. I did a quick thing to let us start reporting national aggregations, and started a much longer thing to get the validation package into shape.

Dinner, crossword, Originals and sewing (finished the construction seam on the one side and started the other), snack, sleep. I’ve been waking up totally wired at like 3/4am, which is unusual for me. Probably forecasting my upcoming seasonal meds adjustment but also that I’m overdue for vacation time. Two weeks to go, one of them short.

Ran out of podcasts and started rereading Gideon the Ninth in prep for the sequel. Just so good.
