(no subject)

Yesterday I fixed a normal surprise issue or two with the new pipeline, submitted the rest of the first issue going back to 6 April, uploaded the individual response data to match, and wrote a new cron job to automatically package up monthly tarballs. I went to team leads where we decided to postpone 1.9 until after the google fellows kickoff, confirmed my vacation 21-25 September, and made most of the decisions on what fellows to put where. Z and I interviewed a candidate for the comms position through HR, who was excellent; I’m holding out for K who we’ll see later today but it’ll be a tough call. Lunch, then finished my sections of the blog post, and picked up some code tasks. I finished the manual metadata updater and submitted it as a PR, then started getting the multi signal queries PR rebased against the new changes in the main branch, which was a more substantial job.

Dinner, crossword, sewing (finished felling the inseam and started the primary construction seam on one of the sides), finished Lucifer, started Originals — which is apparently the forestory of Legacies, excellent, but also past-me has seen the first two seasons already? I started over from the beginning anyhow.

Snack, sleep, dreamt of ridiculously complicated evening gowns, dinner service, mean girls, sprawling manor houses that had been turned into boarding schools, spy networks, tempting the cats on the balcony below mine with tuna.
