Convinced I’m missing meetings
Oct. 2nd, 2019 06:47 amYesterday I basted the zipper in place, and started reading Sheepfarmer’s Daughter, which lays out the origin story of Paksenarrion. It was written in the 90s, but it’s still disappointing that sexual assault is the only character-building event the author could think of for a female lead.
At work I made some progress on the SPARQL system, adding a new lexicon that just hits the database directly using SQL wildcards. So far it ignores the bounds of the user context but it works as a draft. I got types working in the lexicon, but the executor doesn’t always capture them because of the way the SPARQL query is constructed. If it becomes a problem I may have to add special handling for type clauses.
