Yesterday I spun some more of the Romney-mohair blend, met with F at work
to discuss a system diagram she’s working on, got the rest of our tests to
pass and made a provisional commit, and wrote tests for some of the
satellite services we support. Midway through the afternoon there was a
bright flash, and I had a moment to think “huh, is someone taking
professional photos in the atrium?” before it was followed by an enormous
clap of thunder and a roar of heavy rain. So the rain barrels are full now.

After dinner I showed P some tricks with regular expressions in python.
He’s writing a thing to combine the output from several hledger calls into
a useful invoice for his freelance project this summer.
