Yesterday I finished hemming the damask pants (basted, tried on, still too long, basted again, perfect, hand-felled). I washed two loads of towels, and hung the dish towels out on the line. I watched piles of Elementary and listened to a bunch of old sewing podcasts that had accumulated at the bottom of the queue. I screwed up some kind of muscle in my right shoulder. P cleaned out and cleaned off the lawn mower in prep for taking it to the shop. He also cleaned out a nasty garbage can I had abandoned 😓 from when I cleared the back porch for the masonry guys, and ran to the hardware store for a replacement spray nozzle for the hose. The old one had gone mysteriously missing. Lunch was good, snack was good, dinner was a bit late but good. Crossword, half an episode of Elementary, put together ingredients for another batch of nut and seed bars, sleep. This time I’m testing out measuring by weight.
