Yesterday I unpacked the remaining packages from last week, including a bench block for center punching brass, a screw thread gauge, scribe, and another pin vise. The screw I’m trying to match is bang on 32 threads per inch but is 0.134 inches in diameter, which is short of the 0.138 inches of a standard 8-32 screw. I’ll check metric sizes next and then pick the closest one.
After lunch we did the crossword, then I gave my women in STEM talk (which was lovely— I shared billing with a high school senior who has a patent on an aquatic robot for water quality monitoring, very cool), met with J about her vaccine project, then spent the rest of the afternoon recovering and watching SG-1. P and I split laundry duties, and played scrabble after dinner (590s), then more SG-1, snack, and sleep.
Snuff continues most excellent, definitely recommended.
