Yesterday I re-did the hook and eye prototype I messed up on Friday and did
some of the eyes. Because it’s reversible I won’t actually need a placket
on one side, and I could just use a grown-on extension on the other side,
although having the seam there does make it easier to align everything.
We’ll see.

We went to the Staghorn for small business Saturday and I got some things
for my sister’s birthday. We would have played anniversary scrabble there
too, but we flubbed their Saturday hours, so we played on the iPad at home
under covers instead and it was glorious (board score 548, pretty good!).

P has the hardware prototype of the media player all working! The lights
work, the lcd display works, and everything updates correctly whether you
interact with it directly or through another client. This has been a
multi-year project with many exploratory branches, so it’s very exciting
and I’m extremely proud of him.

I finished all the available Gladstone&c, but it’s clear there will be
more, and I’m subscribed now so I’ll get updates.

After dinner I watched more She-Ra and knit on the purple stripey sock for
P that’s been in hibernation since like March.

Epic dream about being in K-12, not having the right standardized test
scores, having hearing problems, reading way ahead in the textbook, and
negotiating trade between Ecuador and Puerto Rico. As you do.
