Yesterday I led the all-hands meeting, had one on ones, met with R to figure out how to convert some of the scenarios I’d listed for the signal dashboard into legit user goals and stories, attempted to patch the combo cases and deaths a few times until it finally stuck, filled out a couple more paragraphs of the BIGINT retrospective, finished polishing the six month roadmap for engineering, and met with J about next steps for her science fair project. I kinda phoned that last one in though as I was pretty beat. I did discuss with S the possibility of providing feedback for the Fellows, since that seems to be one of my favorite summative things to do, and yes, there is a mechanism for it and it’d be welcome. Looking forward to that.

Dinner together, crossword, possibly one too many episodes of Atlantis, but a solid snack then sleep. Dreamt of a bad themed dorm party for Halloween and a bunch of transphobic bullshit, then of a weird multiverse vegetable gardening scheme taking advantage of differences in the water table between neighboring universes to provide irrigation, and something about collapsible cubes and not having the right screwdriver.
