Yesterday the new F codebase ran without errors, though it did conveniently leave out the fact that there were no csv files in the directory where it looked for them. Fixed that. I looked over R’s slides, delivered feedback, and went down a small rabbit hole characterizing backfill for the doctor visits signal. Quick lunch, went to R’s office hours to discuss the last presentation details and a few incidentals. Put some time into translating the slides into the draft blog post we want to finish this week for the API. Then, a gauntlet of meetings: an hour on the CDC call where R gave the presentation and I ran backup posting links into chat and answering technical questions, then six back to back meet and greets with the google fellows candidates, twenty minutes each. Grueling but also energizing, there’s a bunch of great talent coming in.

Dinner, crossword, Lucifer and sewing, snack, sleep.
