Yesterday I finished the slides, the diagrams, the dataset, the documentation, and all the other prep for the hackathon. B was a star and did up the random team assignments, accounting for time zone and leadership preferences. I went to the big group meeting which is now blessedly shorter since we did most of the long-form discussion at the team leads meeting on Thursday. I met with Engineering and cleared up the last couple of tasks before the weekend. At 3 I did the hackathon kickoff, which went great! People seemed excited. Afterwards I flipped between answering questions on Slack and getting the 1.4.1 demo together, and just squeaked it out by 6:30.

Dinner, crossword, DS9, snack, sleep. Dreamt of ominous playgrounds, choir practice, and open-plan restaurants.
