Yesterday we had a last minute fix to the CSS to address a conflict with the parent site on staging, which was good to catch. I met with Indicators, and went to the big group meeting where we discussed the plan for what the visualization team should do for 1.4. R continued to ask why we couldn’t just serve all audiences, as if their needs weren’t really that different, and I was able to thoroughly shut that down by being vigorously competent. Rather pleased with that. Fixed some remaining data issues and sent the staged version to marketing for testing. Had a lovely chat with N about Brazil and language nerdery, wrote up and sent out this week’s anomalies report from L, worked with M to resolve the outstanding anxiety over whether the doctor visits signal saw a fundamental change on May 15 (it did not, we’re just getting more data in the same distribution), got a version of the F code cleaned and sanitized for the hackathon, wrote a PR to shorten the name of the 7-day average signal for JHU, worked with J to port it and some other changes to the working branch where that signal is a WIP, asked Rr whether we could pay our prospective intern in CA more than the normal range since she’s external to CMU and thus staff, and started a diagram of how the F code works to include in a README that A is working on.

Dinner, crossword, my computer demanded updates so no DS9, just some Two Dots then sleep.
