Cool but swampy

Yesterday the auto aggregation and validation worked all on its own! Good job, little auto bot. I met with Indicators; first day of new intern B so also got him set up with starter tasks and repository access. Lunch, then generated a dataset for H that includes only the regions that are too small to report during a normal run. Put that in a branch so I can do it again whenever he needs it. Started looking over T’s reimplementation of our pipeline to check its output on actual data, but it was so prohibitively slow I couldn’t get much done on it. It’s a shame, since I was hoping the national aggregator he put in could be used for a tool F is releasing next week. Not likely. Filled all the spaces in the afternoon starting a proposal for an INI hackathon so A can claim us a slot in their meeting this afternoon, and am pleased with what is in there so far.
Dinner, trash, crossword, DS9, snack, sleep. Dreamt of trains, emergency evacuation, clearing out lockers stuffed with important documents and keepsakes and not being able to take them all, the mental cartography transformation that occurs when you first see a familiar place from an unfamiliar vantage point.
Bone Witch got itself a whodunnit subplot! Not enough in the prep work for the reader to figure it out unfortunately, but still a fun sequence.
