Yesterday I finished the foldover elastic on both pairs, and am quite pleased with the results. I wonder if my struggles with it before were an issue with stitch length or with fiber content, because these cotton/spandex ones done with my longest stitch length worked just fine. Mysteries. I put away the pattern, tidied up a bit, and pulled out my long wool skirt to pull off the hem and fix the bunched up canvas inside. Ancillary Justice continues excellent. Keep calm and read trans literature.

I slept in until 10, and overserved on breakfast a bit, so I wound up skipping lunch entirely in favor of a slightly early dinner and a proper bedtime snack. Worked great. Tried a different dinner format; hash browns skillet with carrots, bell pepper, and broccoli. Very quick, 20 minutes maybe, and tasty.

A couple loads of laundry. Crossword. DS9. A good vacation day.
