Yesterday I finished attaching the waistband, after some battles with thread tension. They fit P, and the length is surprisingly fine even before adding the cuffs, so I plan to just hem them and call it good.

I finished Imager, which just stops in the middle of everything. Authors with no concepts of after care are annoying.

Got in a Twitter fight. Pleased to have not been the only one put off by the idea; not pleased by the dude in question choosing to double down on his assumptions.

At work I picked up my new keys and moved into my new office. I moved a bunch of stuff around, cleaned all the surfaces (the top shelves on the wall were particularly gross), had F help me shift one of the wall shelves higher so I could put my books where I could reach them, and unpacked. I’m facing a wall instead of the center of the room, which will take some getting used to, but I didn’t want to completely bogart the window. When S joins me maybe we’ll rearrange things. I intended to set myself up with both monitors, but managed to pick up the wrong cable converter. Boo.

Home, dinner, crossword (cute), the final two-part episode of Voyager, snack, sleep. Meant to set up ingredients for another batch of nut and seed bars. Wretched dreams about bad grocery shopping and making grisly tortillas; you don’t want to know out of what. Couldn’t get back to sleep in spite of top-notch snuggling.
