Yesterday I went back and forth with the maintainer of the open source project I’m attempting to contribute to. They’re not the most shining example of humanity, and it’s put me in a jumpy mood. P helped me talk through one of my responses, which helped a lot internally, but I don’t think they’re actually listening.

At work I made enough progress on reading the SPARQL paper to start building up the scaffolding we’ll need to employ. Step one: connect to a mysql database in java, complete. I met with my boss and we started getting his environment set up for LIA. Something seems to be amiss in the homebrew package for ant, which is disappointing. Cmon.

Liars Oath continues; I’m waiting so far in vain for someone to explain that it’s not the doing-good that made Gird remarkable but the perseverance in the face of repeated failures. We’re starting to call back to the somewhat rushed prologue though so I’m excited to see how it all connects in the end.

Home, did a turn through the garden and picked a paste tomato, lemon chiles, and beans, and tied up some of the sprawling tomatillos. P had late meetings on campus but was home just in time for dinner. Crossword, Elementary, snack, sleep. Epic dreams about doing my hair after a shower, matchmaking for two dudes who had failed to notice their mutual crush, xmas tree sellers, improperly decommissioned tanks, and some kind of magic RV that accidentally gained a second story.
