Dreamt of badly-installed deadbolts

Yesterday I finished the armhole on the burgundy floral, then installed buttonholes and buttons on all three shirts... just in time for fall 🙃
After lunch we went on a field trip to Mellon park and Bakery Square. I found two pairs of pants: a blue-toned green corduroy in a bootcut and a black/navy cotton brocade wide leg. They both need hemming so they’ll go in this week’s wash first to shrink as much as they might. I also got a gauzy oversized shirt with a neat twist front I want to examine more closely for construction purposes.
Home, snack, then I did a turn through the garden and picked a pile of beans. We were visited by deer, which did a number on the tromboncino and chomped several fruits I’d been waiting on right up. Boo, deer. The Cherokee beans have started in earnest. The yellow haricots are just about done, though they’re trying to flower again so we’ll see. No new ripe tomatoes or peppers, though the orange bells are getting close. Weeded some arugula out of the carrot patch.
Dinner, crossword, Elementary, was feeling borderline fragile so no snack, sleep. Empire of Sand is starting to wrap up.
