infryqYesterday I spent the morning in the NFS mines rather than sewing, and
managed to find a workaround to restore access to one of the share drives
some students have been using. I met with my boss and we discussed the
collaboration with B’s research, and decided on a strategy for assigning
disk quotas for the new NAS. The rest of the afternoon went into learning
about zfs.
Home, and P was at the teaching garden but got back by the time I had
started dinner. Food, trash, crossword, Flash.
The new grow lights are strong enough to sunburn the tender new tomato
leaves, so we have to come up with some mechanism for raising them farther
away.
I finished Immunity and started Winterfair Gifts.
