The day lamp really does help
Sep. 1st, 2018 06:47 amYesterday I went in early for a meeting, tracked down the simplenlg bug and
submitted a bug report, and tried out using the new nlg system in one of
our effectors. This revealed an issue I hadn’t thought of: currently we’re
using a static code analyzer to index every response message from each
effector, and that’s not going to work with a runtime-generated nlg object
instead of a string. I wrote up the problem and a short list of possible
solutions and will get feedback on it next week.
After work P and I went to the store and got chips, frozen peas, avocado
oil, granola, and a weird new Cheerios variation that was probably the
result of a hopped up marketing exec “What if... we stuck OATS... on our
cereal... which is already made of oats?” P says it tastes like Honey
Bunches of Oats x Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Crossword was challenging but we still beat our average. Sleep.
