infryqYesterday I plied more of the grey Gotland, had my last meeting with W
before he leaves for Google, and spent the afternoon troubleshooting a host
of issues with a student’s PATH, PYTHONPATH, anaconda, pip, and pipenv.
Ultimately we want a solution where he can play around with different
versions of pytorch without affecting the system versions of anything,
which should in theory be possible. In practice, however... he’s sent me a
verbose trace of the latest issue and I’m going to try to duplicate and
then solve it offline today.
Took the shuttle home because it’s too damn hot for May, and hid in the AC
for most of the evening. Watched more Dear White People v2; cried at
episode 9.
