infryqYesterday I spun a bit more alpaca, and knit a bit on the hat lining. The
crossword was grindingly hard; lots of false starts and an unusual rebus
pattern.
Lots of cops around this morning helping a big rig extract itself from the
gas station. One of the regulars at the bus stop is black, and he was
pretty nervous. I probably wouldn’t have noticed the cop situation at all
otherwise. Wish Pittsburgh was more of an exception to the “police aren’t
safe for PoC to be around” rule.
Warm spell in the weather means that everything that was poised to get
growing has exploded— bulbs and forsythia everywhere, and the conifers are
busy spewing pollen like mad.
