Yesterday I cleaned up the garden a bit, pulled a rutabaga (impressively
big!), most of the garlic (disappointingly small), and some orach greens,
and planted another set of pole beans. Did the laundry since the weather
was good, and hit the farmers market where we got blueberries, peaches,
sour cherries, pickling cucumbers, green beans, red veined dandelion
greens, zucchini, and sunflower sprouts. Saw J there and chatted with him
and his little one, who is really into cauliflower (and super adorable).

I finished cutting and sewing the muslin for my tunic, but it turned out
far too loose at the side seams and had something weird going on at the
back shoulder (surprise surprise). I released the side seams and split the
back horizontally at the fullest part of the weirdness, inserted a strip of
fabric and had P help me pin it into position. Low rounded back adjustment!
I pinned the side seams back in place and just finished marking the
adjusted seam lines before it was time for bed. Crossing fingers it will
fit now...
