Yesterday I cleared a spindle in prep for plying the commercial wool/alpaca
singles I got for P's hat. Work was a slog but ultimately productive; lots
of code spelunking and SPARQL hacking to fill some gaps in the
documentation (well, I presume there are gaps -- no way to tell, since wiki
search for their site throws an error). Over ate at dinner so felt a bit
dodgy but I got a bunch of knitting done out of it and I appear to be
alright now so I'll take it. I'm through the thumb waste yarn and working
on gusset decreases for the lining of the first mitten. You guys, it is
sooooo sofffft. I can't wait to wear them. Yesterday was colder than I
expected and my old colorwork mittens were having such trouble standing up
to the wind. That won't be a problem with these.

Weekend plans include starting on the herbalism course, trying out my new
tjanting tools to batik the second pillowcase, and more knitting/spinning
as usual.
