Vacation updates

Yesterday I indeed survived on rice soup, hypersensitive to smells and jostling.

Hopefully today will be better.

I finished washing two bags of grey baby alpaca roving that I'd discovered back in September to have been processed with all its animal's dust bath dirt still within. With any luck I got enough of it out that it won't turn my hands black when I spin it this time.

I'm knitting myself a pair of lined mittens, to match the pair I knit for P two years ago. Finished the body of mitt 1 yesterday and am halfway through the second set of increases on mitt 2. I'm trying a thing where instead of knitting the outer mitt and inner mitt in one go I'm going to knit them separately and then graft them together; we'll see how it goes. I have to wait until the alpaca is spun up before I can knit the linings anyhow so might as well.

Folded a mountain of laundry and had a proper shower, which helped with the unproductive-sick feeling. Didn't call the doc. Monday.
