There’s a cucumber in the garden

Yesterday I went to the team leads meeting, and we discussed Engineering priorities. I started after for half an hour or so to discuss documentation and age stratification with Z, as well as his plans for the fall vs the manager we plan to hire who might take on comms. Lunch, then the usual Monday meeting gauntlet until 4, then I distributed the intern exit tasks and reviewed PRs until 5:30. I wound up bouncing code back and forth with V a couple times to express what I meant, which was pretty satisfying.

P and I made pita, then dinner, crossword, sewing, and Roswell. I finished the first round of topstitching on the elastic and started the second. Snack, sleep; dreamt of walking barefoot on worn marble floors, clever solutions to logic puzzles, boarding school clubs, subscription boxes, hard cider, shady government agents.
