Yesterday the community question broke the aggregations pipeline, so I disabled it for the moment. Fixed that bug, assembled some slides for today’s group meeting, and wrote up some plans for a process anomaly detection project for L. Lunch, met with L, decided on next steps. Met with J about the Fourier model she’s trying to port from R to python. Tough to know whether the problems there are technical understanding or language barrier, and the cultural barrier tends to obscure the difference. Bummer. Pushed back at R on whether this port is even necessary. The mama bear -shaped manager hat is the second-most fun to wear. The rest of the afternoon went into checking the incremental system (success; it will run as primary this morning), team meeting (found some irregularities in a few megacounties and metro areas N is chasing down), team leads meeting, and helping N debug.

Finished Artificial Condition and started Rogue Protocol again. Recommended them to P, as using a sci fi story as an excuse to write a character story is kindof his jam.
