Yesterday I tested out some techniques to machine-fell the side seams and french-seam the bottom corners of the fabric bags, and finishes for the top edge. A ribbon finish wasn’t very good at all, but a double fold hem seems fine. Putting some cord into the side seams for added structure worked great. Now I need to find the rest of the muslin. Maybe order some cotton tape. Learn to tie a clove hitch.

Imager’s Challenge continues well; the protagonist is finally learning to think for himself as a member of a complex net of people all with their own values and motivations, which are not necessarily bad even when they do not align with his.

Deep-cleaned the center shelf of the cabinet in the butler pantry, which was mostly old food that expired five years ago (or more; I found a few marked 2009). Emptied glass bottles down the sink until my saving throws ran out, then cleaned up, and burned some cinnamon to clear the worst of the weird smells. Laundered the dish towels as we are Extremely Out.

Lunch, crossword, sewing; dinner, Repair Shop, snack, sleep. Dreamt of defeating a Baba Yaga riddle through dimensional analysis.
