An abandoned IKEA
Oct. 31st, 2019 07:48 amYesterday I topstitched both sides of the zipper, sewed and felled the side panels, and sewed and felled the top and bottom panels. Next is the long piped seam, which I think I will leave for the weekend so I can do it all in one go.
At work I fixed the deletion bug T found on Tuesday, then returned to editing the walkthrough. I fixed the state machine to print what it learned after teaching instead of running the taught command again, and found a nasty bug in generalization where a taught command takes a field as argument. Fixed it. While running tests I played a few candidate inform7 games but am still not sold on one to show my research group. P suggests asking Z, which is an excellent idea.
Home, then I worked on the triangle embroidery for a while. I finished the closed cretian stitch but didn’t like it, ripped it out, and replaced with open cretian stitch. Better. Started a rope stitch border to clean up all the edges.
Dinner, trash, crossword, was feeling oddly fragile, Elementary, no snack, sleep. Dreamt of aliens who were horrified by all the poisonous-to-them water around.
