Steamy too
Aug. 22nd, 2019 07:29 amYesterday I spent the morning backporting the system status script I rewrote for T’s servers back over to W’s, in the process finding a hacked cron job on one of the older machines. Whoops. I also gussied up the display, and finished hooking up the GPU load elements. After lunch I helped V find a place to host her preprocessed tensorflow models so that she can load them into a large cloud machine for training. I also fixed some of the formatting problems with the login screen for LIA. Home on the shuttle with P, sat for a bit, dinner, picked some beans and a tomato in the garden, trash, crossword, then I started watching Going Postal since I’m apparently not done with Pratchett adaptations yet. Snack, meds, sleep. I finished The True Queen and started Amberlough by Laura Elena Donnelly, which is read by Mary Robinette Kowal and appears to by a spy novel set in an extremely gay 1920s. So far it’s an awful lot of characters that are hard to keep track of, but the chatter is nice.
Dreamt I started work on an old woodland farm and mom’s cousin D started a business making and selling needle-felted flowers.
