Dreamt of hiking with garden tools

Yesterday I finished the waistband on P’s pj shorts, had him try them on,
and marked the hem. I did ballot research for the primary, and voted.
Caught the bus to work, and engaged a lively twitter convo about college
tuition and the Olin scholarships. At work I had lunch with C and K, wrote
up an issue for helpdesk about a klist version conflict, learned about a
command called vmstat that has exactly the information I was hoping to
display on the server status page, and started converting my ancient and
hairy awk script for parsing ps and nvidia-smi output to python.

P had the car on campus, so we stopped at geagle on the way home and got
carrots, avocado oil, some frozen peas and squash, milk, and ice cream.
Home, dinner, crossword, Flash. There is no more Flash for the moment but
they spent all last season foreshadowing a new time-travel storyline so I
will have to wait and see.
