The contrast is heady

Yesterday I tried on the skirt with the hem band in place, and checked that
it looked how I wanted (and verified with P). All good! I trimmed the long
seam allowances along the bottom edge, and sewed a band of canvas in to
weight and stiffen it a bit.

At work I finally located the source repository for the KB storage scheme
nell uses, and started reading. I’m not convinced we want to use
tokyocabinet as the persistence but it looks like there’s only a single
class handling that point of inflection, so 👍🏻.
