Yesterday I sewed more pocket seamlines together; I’ve just got half of one
left. At work I was able to write up a pile of derivation rules for
converting a series of parse beams into an unambiguous sequence of intents
(an intent is our atomic unit of activity). I borrowed heavily from the
cardsorting activity we did weeks ago and invented a bunch of scaffolding,
none of which I’d have had any idea how to do in September. Bless experts.
A short brain break with snacks, then I finished the edit & resubmit thing
in the Android app and started pulling together the threads I’d left myself
for middleware integration.

P made horse gram, with confusing but lovely spices (fenugreek, smoked
paprika, white pepper) and rice. I had more scent trouble with the gram
itself and the rice than I expected, but was able to power through. It’s a
super-nice aged basmati, which my brain places in an uncanny valley of
Imposter Basmati. Boo.

Dinner was fine, crossword was lovely, and I went looking online for
fleece-lined leggings, got frustrated, then went looking for fleecy fabrics
with some spandex content because don’t I have my own custom leggings
pattern? I do. Plus then I can get cotton or bamboo viscose or hemp or
whatever instead of the 100% polyester that’s all I can seem to find in
RTW. Though I kinda just want leggings without having to put three days
into making them on top of shipping time. Ugh.
