Dreamt of burning out the roots of unwanted shrubbery

Yesterday I spent the morning battling the server again to get a bunch of
disk zombies unstuck so a student’s webserver would run (and was
successful, yay!). No movement yet on getting the SIM card approved, or
from T on what to do about the server, or from team on where to focus next.
AWS is changing the naming policy for their container utility, so I figured
out who to email from N’s group and helped them figure out they probably
won’t be adversely affected. I worked on some code for R. Fielded a request
from another student affected by the down drive. I went to therapy, and got
a perspective check that maybe the last couple weeks have all been a little
much, and that’s true. Good thing I have a particularly generous serving of
vacation time this holiday season, thanks to taking too few days off the
last few years and wanting to prevent the PTO rollover maximum from being
ridiculous.

Typical evening schedule; sit dinner crossword gbbo Gladstone&c. I finished
season two and am definitely continuing on.
