It’s extremely frosted mini wheats outside

Yesterday I carded more Tunis, spun more Gotland, and nearly finished the
decreases on the herringbone hat. Then I tried it on, and... I’m pretty
sure it’s too small. It is snug, but the whole point is to line it, so I
think I have to rip it all back. Worse, the yarn chicken situation was
getting pretty serious, so I don’t think I can get away with adding a few
more stitches and continuing as before. I need a less yarn-hungry stitch.
