Yesterday I finished the last bobbin of teal singles, and prototyped a
couple of different plying options. While those were drying after their
bath I started carding up another batch of an angora blend for hat linings.
At 5 P and I drove up the hill to pick up a cedar chest from a lady who is
cleaning out her garage. She’s really nice, and is probably getting rid of
a couple of looms someday too. The chest is solid wood, but veneered; some
of the veneer is chipped and lifting, the finish could use some attention,
and a few details around the legs are loose. The plan is to give it a brief
clean but otherwise put it to use immediately, then take it down for more
serious repairs over winter 2018/2019.
Food wise, I slept in (so breakfast slipped by like an hour), then
completely lost track of time spinning, so lunch wasn’t until 3. Recovered
timing somewhat at dinner but anxiety was a problem and I kept noticing
unusual flavors which may or may not have been imaginary. So, not great.
May be time for a diet shift.
