Dreamt of endlessly searching for parking

Yesterday I basted in the waist stay, sewed the skirt darts, then promptly
sewed the two side fronts together, skipping the center front panel
entirely. There is ... some learning curve to sewing without pins.

I added two more layers of french knots to the broccoli embroidery. It
looks pretty stunning so far.

The weather was nice and our lab meeting let out early, so I walked home
through the woods. A pair of deer were chasing each other back and forth
across the hillside. Not sure if they were playing, courting, or fighting —
haven’t seen deer doing that before. No antlers.
