Yesterday I cut and sewed major seams on a longer pair of leggings made out
of double-brushed polyester. It is incredibly soft, but also shifty as
hell. Next is adding the skirt band, which should be easier since it’s only
one layer of the DBP.
I’ve started experimenting with using Trello to file all my fabric, and
eventually patterns and projects too. So far it’s way nicer than
Patternreviews, though that’s a pretty low bar.
P and M had Mineo’s for dinner, and M is scheming to bring some Everyday
Noodles back to Ann Arbor with him. I wholeheartedly approve.
Weird dreams about using an ancient computer in an apartment complex lobby
where I didn’t live to order a free copy of a book for a K12 English class
I wasn’t taking, then riding in the jump seat of an increasingly
broken-down vintage Porsche until we had to get out and push. We pushed it
all the way up the stairs of a burned-out high school which somehow
included an abandoned Market Basket, where we collected ingredients to make
ice cream and I planned to make magic shell topping.
