I narrowly escaped getting soaked due to some curiously strong weather karma

Yesterday I sewed up the side seams, and success! Some minor armhole
adjustments and it fit great. I disassembled the muslin, transferred all my
changes back to the paper pattern, and traced off a final copy. I'm ready
for fashion fabric!

Returning to work was fine, though disorienting. Got some editing done and
prepared some new data for analysis.

P and I built a prototype cutoff wire from twisted fishing line. I got to
refresh my extremely stale fishing knot skills (I think I was 8 the last
time I used them. Grandad and I used to fish) and the results
are...adequate. It's a bit short, and tying off the free ends was extremely
challenging. The next one will be better, and since that's the whole point
of a prototype, I'm pleased.
