We watched the men's barbershop final too

Yesterday we went to the Poulsbo farmers market and got real, correct,
rainier and bing cherries. P prefers the bings, which is wrong but I love
him anyway.

We tooled around Poulsbo for a bit afterwards and mom and I went to a
quilting shop (really amazing batiks! Viking ship batiks!) while P had a
perfect cup of coffee on the quayside. We went to a neat little used
bookstore, a yarn store where I bought a souvenir skein of locally-dyed
yarn (superwash merino, but that was all they had) and ogled their
inventory of washed fleece and their Clemes & Clemes drum carder (a
crankless, which is not the model I want but it's still the first time I've
seen a C&C in person), and a spectacular bakery (Sly's?) where P got a
gingerbread man and a couple of pfefferkuken.

I had some sister chatting time, lots of mom chats, some
kitten-napping-on-lap time, and some knitting time while watching another
craftsy class on fitting (which is not all that great but I'm reserving
final judgement until I see her treatment of swayback).

P and I did the crossword and made some progress on the DaVinci puzzler.

Great start to a vacation, basically.
