Yesterday I ran the all hands meeting, did yet another reissue of individual response data for surveys, refactored the HHS code to include a second indicator, finished a draft of the HHS API docs, had a brief meeting with J for her science fair project, and went to therapy. We talked about work, and future plans, and interpersonal dynamics, and how vacations are good. These days I mostly need positive reinforcement and a little light prodding at comfort zones, and I’m lucky to have found a therapist who has figured that out.

I am now on vacation!

Dinner was good, then crossword, SG-1, snack, and sleep. Katie-friendly snack supplies are critically low so my job today is to make crackers or something. Epic dreams of a “young women in tech and the arts” event, with a program runner who had a remarkable resemblance to one of the anarcho-communists I follow on Twitter, rooftop hacking, poetry readings, spindle spinning, a weird local theme park consisting of a long but stimulating walk up a mountain, with their yurt at the top, and snacks of toast and jam. We broke out the wine for the adults. Mimicking owl calls, precarious compulsory public art repairs, quarantine times, land use history and public parks, photobombing, animal golems in various stages of ceramics.

Finished Ring of Dragons (no mention of a ring that I could tell) and started Crown of Dragons.
