Yesterday I met with Indicators, and was cut short when Zoom decided to add a 7-second audio delay to everybody, including audio over the phone, which is quite bizarre. The rest of the morning went to writing and doing some checks on the known irregularities file for the F data. Lunch, then the other AC company came to do their estimate, and I went to a meeting with CMU marketing about making some changes to the release procedure. Worked with A to revise the release policy doc, then went to a meeting with viz and presented the new schedule. Based on their level of confusion I reformatted the policy doc to be more readable at a glance. The rest of the day went to keeping track of the fixes to the viz bugs, which were all addressed except for a nasty one that made it into production at some point, not sure when, it just wasn’t flagged until now. We made an executive decision to scrap this week’s release and try for a do-over next week, which will makes for a gentler first shot at the new release schedule and procedure anyhow.

Did a turn through the garden with P, then dinner, trash, crossword, direct to sleep.
