Lovely blue cast to the savory and thyme

Yesterday I sewed up the inseam and crotch seam on the muslin and did a
fitting on P. Added more length in the crotch and a bit at the front side
seams, as his true side is more toward the back.
After lunch we did the crossword, then went to campus and dropped off water
for me and art supplies for P’s students. Came home and spent a few hours
in the yard pruning. I knocked the red twig dogwood allllllll the way back,
saving some staves and osiers for the garden. P did the cherries and the
elderberries. I finished up with clearing the bayberry away from one of the
blueberries, the passionflower, and the path, and cut back the thyme,
lovage, fennel, oregano, and sage. A blister on my thumb crapped out so I
didn’t get to the other blueberries, the savory, or the rogue raspberry.
Another day.
Dinner, no Monday crossword since it’s spring break, Flash.
