Yesterday I ate oatmeal with some success, though lunch was difficult.

I switched to cereal and soy milk in the afternoon/evening, which was good (protein!) though dinner was also difficult. Progress nonetheless.

I washed the two skeins of black yarn from a couple days ago, and they're just delightful. I need to find a sweater knitter to gift them & their future friends to.

I put some old dingy pillowcases in the crock pot with black walnuts and a rusty nail to see if overdyeing them will help at all. I haven't done cotton with walnuts before, but it's a substantive dye so should work.

The grey alpaca was dry so I started spinning it. It drafts unevenly with a lot of second cuts, but since it's going to be mitten linings that's fine. I'll need to 3- or 4- ply it to match gauge with the outer mitten, so it's going to be a while before that's done.

I finished the body of the second outer mitten, and picked up stitches for the thumb on the first one. I may have been overly enthusiastic with the decreases given that I'm using smaller needles for the thumbs than the bodies, but it shouldn't be too terrible to rip back if I need to.

Discovered a new knitting YouTube channel, Arne & Carlos. It's two adorable Norwegian guys who really like each other. So I've been bingeing on that.
