Inconsistent with reality

Yesterday we completed phase two of the historical data restore. If the overnight data sync didn’t encounter any surprises, we should be finally done with the BIGINT catastrophe that started on February 4. What an exhausting thing to fix; I hope we never have to do that again. With the rest of the day I met with L to go through the epidata new endpoint procedure, went to the first team leads without the Fellows (surreal, but it’ll be a fine new normal), and handled some minor fixes.

Dinner solo, Atlantis, crossword when P finished class (the center bottom was a slog), more Atlantis, then snack and sleep. Dreamt of packing for a road trip, family bickering, a hilarious wooded golf course with cats, tea shops that aren’t there anymore, and correcting someone who was trying to reminisce gently about Abusive Asshole Ex.
